My First Post

When I first decided to create this website I was somewhat afraid of where to start and what I would actually talk about. I knew I wanted to discuss Ebay as a seller and of course as a buyer too, but I didn't know where to begin. I've had so many experiences over the past 15 years Ebaying, that the stories never seem to end, and that can be a good thing. I've become friends with sellers and buyers alike on this fantastic marketplace while turning a fun profit and expanding my wardrobe.

At some point I started getting much more serious about my selling. I realized a good amount of money can be made when marketed correctly and done right. I really wanted to develop my skill set, so I started heavily researching how to advance the seller side of my account. I struggled to find any websites out there that were relevant to selling fashion on Ebay. Though I did find pages selling antiques and other miscellaneous household wares, there wasn't much about selling designer clothing. What they were showing me, what they were telling me, just wasn't for me. Those tips and tricks are great for those things, but weren't compatible with what I was trying to sell. I really wanted to make myself a little more standout from the other sellers out there, but wasn't sure how - and to be honest with you I am still working on that, because I am the type that believes that you can do amazing work but there's always room to learn and to improve.

I feel that the type of people I sell my clothes to feel more secure purchasing the Lanvin jacket in my store since the listings below and above aren't footballs and teacups, but are of other fashionable items high end or not. I also believe that people are interested in buying from me because of the product I push and the customer service I provide. You can see from my Seller Store that most of my items aren't even high end or runway, but stylish clothing that adds a lot of taste to any wardrobe. I want to showcase my taste in style and the thrifty side of my shopping to buyers and sellers, and I want to help sellers or potential sellers out there see that there's a lot of money to be made as long as you're willing to work hard on it. That is the key though and that is what no one tells you - it is A LOT of hard work.

Originally I planned on making my blog strictly about my Ebay clothing and what I'm selling. I came up with the notion that I could write about how you can style this special dress or these amazing shoes to really try to push more sales into my store that way, but I felt that it wasn't meaty enough to create an actual site or blog. I went back and forth to the drawing board and tried to take a step back and see the bigger picture, see where I was coming from and where I was going. I had this inspiring moment when I realized I wanted to interact with people and help them with the issues I am sure they have had too. I didn't want people to be frustrated with their sales or lack there of as I had been, instead I wanted people to be able to see how they can improve on them, learn from my mistakes, or possibly gain the confidence to try selling for themselves. I know that there are a lot of new sellers out there that are just starting out and are looking for direction and I believe I can help provide it.

I must emphasize though I am an outlier when it comes to Ebay- I am very new to blogging and of course running a website, so be patient with me! Thank you for reading and I hope you come back for more.
